Roasted Pumpkin Seeds

Decorating my house for fall is one of my favorite times of the year. Especially when I get to carve a pumpkin. It is such a fun family event. This year, I am even more excited to share this time with my daughter. I can't wait to see what she thinks of the pumpkin guts.

After carving your pumpkin this year, try roasting the pumpkin seeds. Not only is it a healthy treat, but it is another fun activity that you and your family can do together!

I've attached a recipe for roasting pumpkin seeds for you to try!

You will need the following ingredients:

  • 1-1/2 tablespoons of melted margarine

  • 1/2 teaspoon of salt

  • 1/8 teaspoon of garlic salt

  • 1 teaspoon of brown sugar

  • 1-1/2 teaspoon of soy sauce

  • 2 cups of raw whole pumpkin seeds

  1. Preheat the oven to 275 degrees.

  2. Mix together the margarine, salt, garlic salt, brown sugar, and soy sauce.

  3. Add in the Pumpkin seeds and stir around thoroughly.

  4. Place mixture in a shallow baking dish.

  5. Bake for one hour, stirring occasionally.

  6. Enjoy!!
