Good morning to all, 

 

Almost the weekend. Does anyone have any exciting plans this weekend? More homes are hitting the market now, if you're thinking of buying, be sure to let me know and I can schedule some showings for you! 

 

As more homes are being uploaded to the MLS, more FSBO listings are also hitting the market. Please keep in mind that in order for us to get licensed we have the take the proper education, then pass a state boards test, and then take so many hours of separate classes/continuing education. Every 3 years we have to update our licenses as well and in order to do so we have to complete so many hours of continuing education within that time period as well. 

 

Things are constantly changing in the world of Real Estate. If you were to sell your home right now, besides sticking a sign in your yard and maybe uploading it "for sale" on a couple of websites or social media, would you be able to tell me the exact steps that a transaction goes through in order to sell your home? If you get a lawyer to take care of the closing for you, or draw up a contract for you, you're going to pay them a lot of money to do so. So either you pay a lawyer to do minimal work for you, or you pay a real estate agent to do that and take care of all of the marketing, scheduling of showings, getting feedback from the showings, helping you to prepare your home to list it, take attractive photos of the home, etc.

 

It is in your best interest to always have a real estate professional assist you in the sale of a home. We are hired to protect you and guide you through the process making it a seamless transaction for you the whole way through. Every transaction is different and we are equipped to handle this. It is important to have every federally required form to be filled out when buying or selling a home, and to have contracts in place to protect both parties.
